Trip to Quezzane.
Quezzane was a short trip to the north of Mechra Bel Ksiri, maybe 30-35 miles one way.
We were just wandering around to see what the country surronding us was like. It was quite different. I only visited there one time.

City Limits?
These markers were at all town entrance points. |
Still at the entry point to the town.
Doesn't look very big from here. |

Looking toward where we entered the town.
We climbed the hill behind the town to get a better overall view. It was worth the climb. |
Looking at the town from the hill above it.
This is proof that it is much larger than it appears from below. I was surprised.

The streets were very narrow in some places.
We couldn't talk to anyone . None of us spoke French or Arabic and they didn't understand English. This was unusual as some normally knew a little English. |
The only modern building that I saw in the whole place.

Back at Mechra Bel Ksiri.
These Pill Boxes are left overs from WWII. They were still in abundence all over the country. |
